Brass LGA caretaker chairman celebrates birthday in style
The caretaker chairman of Brass Local Government Area, Hon. Victor Isaiah on Monday celebrated his birthday in a grand style.
The birthday celebration was hosted by the chairman’s wife, Mrs. Weri Victor Oputu as a gift to a loving husband.
The Birthday started with a brief prayer by Hon. Helen Bob former SA to the Governor on Talent Development and followed with a short opening remark by the chairman of the occasion Hon. Emmanuel Charles.
In his brief remarks, the chairman expressed gratitude to his wife, family, associates and good people of Brass Local Government Area for their support, love, and prayers.
He said he was taken aback by the show of love by his family and close associates. In his words, “Sincerely I woke up this morning with no plans to celebrate my Birthday this year because of the event of the devastating flood.
People are suffering as a result of the natural disaster and it’s a time to reach out. Nevertheless, I thank my lovely wife and all those that conspired with her to throw this surprise party in my honor. It is low key and considerable at this time”
The Brass council boss, however, used the birthday occasion to rededicate himself to God Almighty, to the selfless service of Brass Local Government Area and humanity.
Chairman Victor said: ” With the grace of God Almighty and the support of the people, I will continue to lead Brass Local Government Area to greater heights through the implementation of quality policies, programmes, and projects.
The birthday celebration was attended by family, friends, and associates of the chairman.
Highlights of the celebration were the cutting of the Birthday cake by the celebrant and the wonderful rendition of tuneful Birthday songs.
